Why Epic Might Not Have A Sequel

I have bad news but... Unless it's being produced by a different studio, there will most likely not be a sequel to Epic anytime soon. I checked Blue Sky's Wikipedia page for their movies, out and upcoming. Epic took about four years to create, and the trailer was released a year in advance. If they get started on the sequel now, the trailer would be released in 2016 and the movie in 2017. However, assuming that one movie comes out per year, Blue Skies already has movies planned to come out up until the 2017 movie, Ferninand, and four movies still currently in makings to come out after that.
